Vietnamese steamed tofu (dau hui hap) recipe



Recipe for vietnamese steamed tofu (dau hui hap) in our easy ethnic recipes collection.

Recipe ingredients

  • 1 pound firm tofu, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

How to make vietnamese steamed tofu (dau hui hap)

  • Place all ingredients in a heat-resistant bowl and mix well.
  • Place 1/2 cup water in steamer and bring to a boil over high heat. Place bowl with tofu into steamer. Cover and steam over medium heat for 25 minutes.
  • Serve hot, with rice or alone.

Preparation time: 10 to 15 minutes
Cooking time: 35 to 40 minutes
Serves 4
