Recipe ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt
1 1/2 cup ice-cold water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 green chili, finely chopped, optional
To whip up a fruit lassi, replace the salt, cumin, and chili with 2 ripe bananas or half a mango and 2 tablespoons sugar.
How to make indian lassi
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend about 15 seconds, or until frothy. If you don't have a blender, place all ingredients in a tightly covered jar and shake to mix.
