  • 2 cups, 16 ounces, plain yogurt
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 peeled cucumber, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dash of cayenne pepper, optional

How to make indian cucumber and tomato yogurt (kheera-tamatar raita)

  • In a bowl, beat yogurt until smooth. Combine yogurt with remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Cover bowl and chill at least 1 hour before serving.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Refrigeration time: 60 minutes
