  • 3 cups, 24 ounces, plain yogurt
  • 1 peeled cucumber, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional

How to make indian cucumber and mint yogurt (kheera ka raita)

  • In a mixing bowl, beat yogurt until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
